What is your favorite ingredient?

tomato. I would always suggest going for the best quality that you can get for the maximum taste. We make a lot of Italian dishes at home so fresh and toned tomatoes are our storefront. I also have to mention Biscoff. It makes everything better. It is one of the most sought after ingredients in Loop & Scope and appears as a gelato and in dipping sauces.

Do you enjoy eating?

Which must be Pizza. This is my ultimate treat, and we’ve really gotten worse with some of the best pizza places in Glasgow and lots of great artistic pop ups coming to the fore. That’s the great thing about Glasgow, we have a wealth of great quality food brands that do really good things. I loved seeing how businesses were able to innovate and deliver their offerings during the lockdown. Enjoying the food and treating yourself a little more than usual I think we all enjoyed our time at home.

Tell us about your first meal

I have great memories. Halloween And making toffee apples in childhood. Halloween is still a big thing in our home. My daughters are at the best age to really enjoy it and we go to Loop and Scope to celebrate.

Which is your favorite Scottish restaurant, deli or cafe?

My favorite restaurant on Glasgow’s Woodside Crescent is Caprese Don Costanzo, as it always serves the best food and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s very family friendly and real. Glasgow Institution And every time I visit, I remember why it’s so popular.

What will be your last meal?

It will be a bang bang prawn followed by a flat stack.

Believe it or not, I would go for a starter and steak tartar is my favorite dish. This is something I would never make at home so ordering is great when I’m out for dinner and always feels a little fun.

Do you hate food

Catch the coriander. In my opinion, that ingredient destroys every dish.

Which starter, main and dessert will be served at your Dream Dinner Party and who will you invite?

I’m going to get scallops for my starter. This will be followed by an important course of flat steak and the pudding will be aided by the Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding which will have ice cream. I will stick with the classic things that please the crowd with maximum taste. Depending on the guest list, they will always be close friends and family.

What is your favorite geographical destination?

Italy without a doubt. This is a good cooking house and I have many wonderful memories of the holidays that I have taken with me to the country. I can’t wait to go back whenever I can.
