DJED SPENCE is in line for England’s Under-21 call-up after his thrilling display on loan at Nottingham Forest.
Right-back, who is being targeted by the Premier League, was impressed by Forrest’s eye-opening FA Cup victories against Arsenal and Leicester.
Sunsport believes the young lions have seen the 21-year-old Spence regularly late.
He has a good chance to advance to the Under-21 Euro qualifier against Andorra at the Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth on March 25 next month and to go to Albania four days later.
Spence, who has been outsourced by Middlesbrough, is also eligible for Jamaica, which is keen to represent him internationally.
The former Fulham Academy product became a target for Arsenal after a stunning 1-0 win over Forest’s Gunners in the third round of the FA Cup last month.
Arsenal hero Ian Wright sang on the display, saying Pundit had commented that he had not seen “such a combative, technical, shaky performance in a long time.”
Spence, who is also wanted by Tottenham, followed with a goal in the 4-2 win over Leicester at City Ground in the fourth round.
The looter Phil Beck has come a long way since his youth when he was on the verge of being released from Creon Cottage on a few occasions.
Colin Omogbehan, co-head of the Fulham U-23s, who took 12-year-old Spence to Creon Cottage, praised his dedication.

“There were a lot of players in this group like Emile (Smith Rowe) … and one or two others who didn’t make it but they were really good players.
“He was the last person in the group to go with him to a professional club called Fulham.
“He was always one of those people who wasn’t sure what he was going to do.
“He had great athleticism and technically we improved him in the end and now he is ready. But he was not as natural as Emile. He has really worked hard in his sport.
