But the undefeated prospect threw a spinner into the works by summoning middleweight contender Eubanky Jr. to revive his family feud.

His father Chris Sr. and Nigel were one of the most famous boxing rivals the country has ever seen.

It fights for age between their sons – 30 years later – a remarkable blockbuster.

But Benn has made great strides in the 147lb division, with its promoter being careful to prevent any progress by biting more than physically chewing.

The deer said IFLTVConnor is a fighter, so he wants all these battles now. So when he starts talking about Eubank, he will probably fight Eubank at 160.

“So, don’t do that and do something stupid because money is incredible.

“The money is coming and the money is already there, but Connor is in a good mood, and he wants to go there with everyone and fight the biggest money fights.

“He will come and we want a big fight, but we also want to get things right.”

The deer is ready to talk to the opposing promoter, Black Southland, on possible terms.

But with the Eubank Jr boxing before the 168lb super middleweight limit, he also prefers catch weight between 147-160lb on the playing field.

The deer said: “Black texted me and said, ‘Who are you talking to?’

And I said, ‘No, but do you want to talk about it? We’ll talk about it.’

Money is coming and money is already there, but Connor is in a good mood, and wants to go there with everyone and fight the biggest fights of all.

“But he has circles, Eubank and his associates. I’m sure everyone sees him and leaves, ‘Wow.’

“It’s a big money fight. I don’t know Eubank by weight. He’s tight at 160, but how far can you go?”

Deer added: “For me and ultimately it’s Connor’s decision, but for me, I don’t want this fight to be more than 154.

“You have two guys in the middle of the catch weight, and I don’t see Ubank making 154, 155, 156, I don’t know.

“It simply came to our notice then.

“But listen, if the deal was right, the money was right and Connor was offered.”
