The comedy-drama doesn’t stop the NHS staff from facing difficulties, and the last episode sheds light on how some physicians can pay the ultimate price because of their experience.

Adam’s companion Shruti (Ambika Mode) is quietly in trouble as she goes through her shifts and time at home.

While her proud parents constantly congratulate her on her “amazing job”, Shruti is frustrated about being a junior doctor and does not tell anyone that she has passed her exam for the first time. ۔

After saving the life of a woman who was transferred to a private hospital where Adam Locom was shifting, Shruti empties her locker and tells Adam that she has been booked for some time.

They then walk out of the hospital together before Shruti looks at the camera and says to the audience: “I’m sorry, I really tried.”

She is then seen walking down the street before another scene unfolds between a police car pulling over her flat and Adam arriving at work crying to find his colleagues.

She then learned the tragic news that Shruti had taken her own life, before being seen crying silently in one of the incubators.

Viewers were equally shocked by Shruti’s death, with one person writing on Twitter: “ThisIsGoingToHurt …Shruti… which impressed me a lot.

“After watching the last two episodes, I lay in bed thinking about all this and actually cried for all the NHS workers who felt that their only way out of cycling was to take their own lives. Proper funding is needed. “

A fellow viewer tweeted: “Shocking to see Shruti in #ThisIsGoingToHurt – asked my colleague ‘Wasn’t that when you were F1 ?!’ The companion is crying silently and saying nothing. “
