Bolton S., 35, waited for the big fight press conference to push Brooke into the filmed filth – about which the Sheffield man insists he was not racially motivated – and then yesterday Determined to punish.

The 2004 GB Silver winner said: “I don’t usually talk about racism because sometimes I think it can make things worse.

“But, when someone says something like that, it benefits you and it does me a fair disservice.

“I was really shocked when I saw that video, it was so sad, because I never thought about nails.

“He is criticizing not only me but also my religion and race. Racism is not good and he knows what it means and he needs to be beaten for it.

“People need to see the real side of it. I believe he has fans in the Pakistani, Indian and Asian communities so he should not make such comments.

When asked if his overdue catch-weight clash could still end in fixing his score and eventually becoming friends, he said: “No, not after racial slurs.

“He’s gone from hating and envying me but now it’s too far, it’s too personal and too deep. I can’t befriend such a man.”

Former IBF welterweight champion Brooke, who is also 35, comes from the prestigious and multicultural Angle Gym and Khan believes he is playing race cards to try to turn fans against him.

And he insisted that the verbal digging was only about the fact that Khan’s chin was in danger of breaking like astronomy and curry.

“I’m not a racist character at all,” Brock said. “Khan is just trying to bring everyone to his side and against me.

“Look where I’m from, I’m not a racist at all, he’s just trying to get me off the bus and get people on me.

“I just meant that his chin is as delicate as a papidom and easy to break, I just mean that angle.

“It simply came to our notice then.

“I have a lot of Pakistani, Asian and Indian fans, but also friends and training partners at the gym with whom I visit all the time, every day. It is a pity for them to do so.”
