Meg was able to buy her own home at the age of 23 and is currently in the process of making her own furniture as well as making it upside down.

She decided that she wanted to update her coffee table and was inspired by the Japanese interior design.

Meg loved the shape of the heavy legs of prominent Japanese-style furniture and decided to go on a budget using ASDA £ 1.50 plastic boxes.

According to Meg, she only needed two cans, a marble vinyl peel, and a stone-impact spray paint to complete the DIY project.

Mag wrapped a marble peel over the coffee table and removed the old legs.

He then attached the two boxes to the bottom of the table top and put them inside.

Finally, he used stone-spray paint on the boxes to make them look like concrete.

He said that the total cost of changing his desk is only £ 9.50.

Meg was very happy with the results, she said: “I’m very impressed with it, well I have boxes as table legs but if that seems to be the case then who cares?”

Many users liked the change to Mag’s budget table, one wrote: “Beautiful !!! Creative and you can easily change it if you want.”

Another viewer added: “What a clever idea!”

“I like it! You can’t tell it was a box!” The third user said.

Although some users said they liked the shape of the table, others doubted how strong it would be, like this person: “I’m worried that as soon as you put something on the table it will break.”

Another user said: “Wouldn’t that be a tip if you put something on the edges?”

Meg said it’s strong enough and she hasn’t had any problems with it so far.
